Great rooms and attentive staff that respect your privacy, but will go out of their way to help you if asked.

I was welcomed and shown to my room, which was a good size, with a sofa and fridge as well. The bed was comfy and the building was quiet. There's a nice view of hills from the window.

I guess the bathroom needed a little updating but all worked well.

Nice carpark, spacious room, just what I needed.

The room was very clean and comfortable and well equipped. The staff were very helpful and friendly. In the temporary absence of a chef we were welcome to bring food in to eat in the bar.

As the room was on the front of the property, we were disturbed relatively early by traffic.

Room extremely clean, good bathroom/ shower-room. Generous hospitality tray including teabags from local beverage suppliers. Small refrigerator a nice addition.

Mattress (too soft) smaller than large bedframe. Duvet cover enormous, much larger than duvet and kept slipping. No advice given (verbal or written) as to leaving in morning apart from pencil written note telling where to deposit room key. Have found this before with booking.com's pubs with rooms Person behind the bar not very welcoming unfortunately.

Friendly staff, comfortable bed, great value for money.

No food served in the pub on a Tuesday although there is a COOP & Take Away outlet in the village

No breakfast available. Shower needs attention. Wallpaper held on with sellotape decor needs updating Wi-Fi very hit and miss

Great place and time 👌A special treat for the SWCP and Dartmoor enthusiast.
