Modern Bowness-on-Windermere Flat - Free Parking

Great location. Very close to all the amenities in bowness. Clean and warm. Very good communication with the hosts. Nice to have washing up liquid and dishwasher tabs available too

Bathroom radiator wasn't working and a baking tray would have been useful.

Free parking Within walking distance to the lake Property had everything needed Shops close by When I and a query the owner answer called straight away Definitely would recommend and stay again

Absolutely lovely place and a great location. You can explore everywhere on foot it’s fantastic.

Only issue was we had some problems in getting hot water, even when boosting the boiler.

The location was excellent. It was a very short stroll to the centre of town and all the bars and cafes. Private parking was good but we were lucky to get a space, it was rather full.

We hadn't received information about entry into the apartment late into the afternoon of the day prior to arrival. We got in touch with the owners who replied we'd be sent it on the morning of arrival. The information on Booking.co. should say that not 12/24 hours prior to arrival! There was nothing in the apartment to welcome us. Not even a small carton of milk. The apartment was very cold on when we got in but it warmed up after we switched on the radiators. Unfortunately, the radiator in the bathroom didn't seem to work, so we emailed the owners to ask whether we could do anything. We didn't get a reply, which meant we had very uncomfortable showers that evening. We decided to leave the next day rather than spend another night with a freezing bathroom. This made it a very expensive twi-night break.

Fitting and fixtures faulty. No signal for live TV. Beds need toppers very uncomfortable. Cleaning to a low standard.
