Ba Be Legend Hotel & Tours

This is definitely one of the best places I've stayed during my trip in Vietnam. The room was very comfortable and clean, and the location was peaceful. It was so lovely to come out of my room to a gorgeous view every morning. Luan and Nhi were brilliant hosts! Luan took me on two guided tours, which included a tour of some nearby caves, Ba Be Lake, and local villages. I also bumped into Luan and Nhi at a local festival and they invited me to eat with them, which was very kind. The restaurant across the road is connected to the hotel. The food was great. I really liked the area. As a solo female traveller I felt very comfortable to explore by myself. I went for a run and a couple of walks alone and really enjoyed the surroundings. Finally, Luan helped me plan the next stage of my trip and gave some great recommendations for places to visit. Definitely recommend a trip to Ba Be and a few nights at Ba Be Legend Hotel.

I had a great time. It might be worth noting that the building does not have an elevator so if you are living with a disability or have mobility issues this could be tricky. Otherwise, a little exercise never hurt anyone 😀

Comfort and staff. Knowledgeable and good English. Nice and quiet place. Overview of a valley from the balcony. Airconditioning in your room can be used as heating if needed. Visiting the caves by motorbike is a must do.

it is a bit remote so no bar hopping at night if that is your thing.

Our host Luan was amazing, couldn't do enough for us, including showing us a hiking route through tribal villages and taking us on a walking/boat/cave tour of the area. Dinner was cooked by Luan's wife Vie and was delicious and obviously made with very fresh ingredients. The room was comfortable and beautifully decorated.

This is a perfect place to stay. Super nice rooms and lovely food. Im a photographer and the owner shows me the best spots on the lake and rivers to shoot and fly drone. Amazing help!
