Casa Intiso - Two double bedroom apartment

-Responsive host, Francesco, who made my family's trip wonderful with tips and tour/driver coordination (driving tour of Positano, Amalfi and Ravello). -Francesco answered all my questions almost immediately. Excellent English with outstanding manners. -Francesco gave great advice to stop off at a grocery stores to buy groceries BEFORE you arrive at the house. I was so glad that I listened to him, although I wasn't sure what the house might have already had, so I took some risks. I'll share below - what the house already has, as well as what future guests who choose this house, may wish to buy. -Easy check-in with a lockbox. Never met Francesco or had any paperwork. He filled everything all out. -View of Positano and the ocean. -Thoughtful water, bottle of wine, Nespresso awaiting us when we arrived, along with mini cereal, chips and some candy. -New-ish fridge. -New-ish microwave. -New-ish cabinet with a stainless steel dish rack right above the sink. -New-ish and beautifully ironed dishtowels and oven mitts. -Owner allowed our two small dogs and was thoughtful enough to provide doggie bowls. -Large balcony with clothes pins. -Large bedrooms with glass sliding doors in each room (including family room), to walk out onto the balcony. -New closet with new hangers. -New beach bag that we could use (we did not use because we wanted to leave it new for a new family). -Clean floors. -Large sized umbrellas in case of rain. -Lots of flatware, china, glasses, mugs to choose from. -Bathroom has lots of Cosco-sized shampoo, hand soap, body wash. -New-ish pillows with clean pillowcases -New duvet covers. I think we were the first to use them. But as the summer goes on, there's no top sheet that will separate the duvet cover from the many users and I wouldn't be thrilled to use the duvet cover unless it has a clear smell of bleach or some other sign that it's disinfected.

-I had no idea how to use the oven and was too scared to figure out where to light the pilot. If Francesco greets families, that'd be a great tip. -Sofa cover is not pretty or comfortable. I suggest a new one. -I wasn't sure how old some of the existing food/condiments were and I felt like they were left there from past families. The sugar crystals for example, was stuck together and congealed. I had to break it apart. I almost bought a new bottle of olive oil for my family. There was an existing bottle of olive oil already there, but it was half-used, even before busy season. There was an old salt and pepper grinder, and a rosemary grinder with no top. I was happy that there was extra salt in a sealed container. -Food is not easy to come by and if you do not get it before you arrive, you will not have easy food for your family the next morning. -There is no nearby or convenient way to walk (with ease) to downtown Positano to go grocery shopping and then bring it back in time for family breakfast time. So thanks to Francesco's tip, I had our driver stop before we arrived in downtown Positano, at a local supermarket. Make sure that you buy your own prepared food, olive oil (smallest bottle), butter if you need it, bread, yogurt, eggs, fruit, veggies, protein if you're going to cook, cookies, etc. for your family. I also bought pancetta, tomato sauce, fresh pasta, cheese. I used almost everything and left leftover bottles of water, juice and eggs. -Towels - if you buy some beach towels for yourself in Positano, you'll not have a problem. -Wasn't sure how long the cotton balls, soap, shampoo, etc. was all in the bathroom. -Bathroom is dated, but functional. -Kitchen sink faucet is dated, but functional. -We tried to go to Arienzo Beach, but it's a whole day activity with 1000+ steps and we went through the neighbors' yards. They were not pleased to see us and demanded to know who we were.

The view is one you could sit and watch forever. Clean apartment and lovely hosts.

Francesco, the owner, was perfect in every way. The house was fully stocked with everything one could possibly need from a complete kitchen to wine and beer to Netflix. The place is a 15 min walk from the main part of town, so nice and private. Beautiful terrace on the sea. Bus stop just outside the door. Can’t recommend this place enough

The view of the Amalfi coast was terrific. The master bedroom was lovely.

The view was incredible from the balcony, loved the two separate bedrooms and the interior design

Slight expensive but to be expected

Easy to get keys, the host Francesco waited for us meet us at 9pm and helps us with the luggages. The apartment was very clean. The cleanest out of the 4 other hotel apartments that we have stay at Amalfi coast area. The view is perfect!

The bathroom, shower drainage needs to improve and the shower pressure not strong enough.

I loved this property. Wonderful views. The host is amazing, and he take great care to be sure you have everything you need. He helps with all the recommendations you need!

The property offered a breathtaking view, and the house was both spacious and well-equipped with all the necessary amenities. The host was exceptionally gracious and provied a list of restaurants that proved very helpful. The complimentary wine was a particularly sweet gesture.

The only drawback was not having a private parking. It was tough to find a public parking spot nearby during mid day.

Beautiful apartment and great views. Francesco is a fantastic host.
