Great location for a short walk into the town. Also great for a short 15min drive to Hobbiton. The welcome food of muffins and bread was a welcome treat and great to have some breakfast options as well. Host was super friendly checking in with us when we first arrived, telling us all about the resident alpacas and giving us to food to feed them and the sheep. But left us to it and made it known she'd be available 24/7 should we need her. It was great having our fur baby join us with a safe outdoor space for him to hang out.

Unfortunately we have a snorer in the family so the open - plan sleeping was a little challenging!!! But the space in general was fantastic and plenty of room for pool and dining.

It was so comfortable & because we had teenagers the pool table was used until they got too tired to stay up A small reserve area next to the property gave those that vaped somewhere to go for a walk & vape. My grandson left his watch behind & the host was kind enough to ring & let us know & put it in the post at no charge to us. I would highly recommend & we will definitely stop there again

Very spacious, clean, and comfortable, plenty of amenities (good water pressure in the shower was heaven after some other places we've stayed on our trip!). Quiet, peaceful area, a brisk walk from downtown. Excellent host who went out of her way to meet our needs. Cute alpacas were a bonus! Would absolutely stay here again.

Very well presented premises. Maria was absolutely lovely. When asked she gave us a run down on how she came to be running this unique accommodation unit. Everything was clean and tidy and she had gone above and beyond with the breakfast supplies. There was something weirdly cool about staying in such a large room.

There was a very noisy night cricket somewhere in the tracks under one of the sliding doors. Hardly the fault of the host, but it did wake us several times due to its volume. I found and removed one, but it must have had a mate. It certainly wasnt a big enough issue to downgrade our opinion of the accommodation, but we could see how it could be annoying.

Loved the animals, really added to the experience, hosts even gave food to feed them. Also, the surrounding area was beautiful! Really nice host also.

Our kids are blown away by The Red Shed. We like the host to bits. They're super, super nice. The alpacas & lambies are stunners. The complimentary breakfast & drinks were such a delight. And then the couch: the couch is simply overly comfy & awesome we don't wanna go....

Host was super nice. She had made homemade bread, cupcakes for the kids for christmas. The location in the farm was awesome. Feeding the sheep by the kids were a bonus. Loved it.
