Il-Bàrraġ Farmhouse B&B - Gozo Traditional Hospitality

The bed was comfortable and the location perfect for visiting Gozo.

The bathroom was well put together but made for a tight fit when using the shower and the small basin made washing difficult.

I liked everything, mostly the hosts and their welcoming and kindness approacj, their loving energy and the caring even on the morning breakfast. And the building and it's history is simply amazing.

I liked that it was a traditional farmhouse and the owners lovingly restored it.

I guess I was expecting a bigger property being a farmhouse. The owners Rodrick and his wife - was not introduced, so don’t know her name…are a quiet couple and I would have liked a little more interaction. I would have like a compendium to tell me what buses I need to catch for the attractions of Gozo. Which tours they recommend. What local restaurants I should book. I would have liked ice cubes in the communal refrigerator. I would have liked fresh milk for my coffee. And a hot water jug to make coffee in my room. I’m an early riser and if I wanted a hot drink, I had to go to the communal kitchen. I did not have an iron - it would have been nice to tell guests there was one available should we need it. It would have been good if they had a compendium with emergency numbers…. Mass times included in the compendium. Shops near the accommodation….. Things to see and do in Nadur. Markets etc.

We had an amazing stay! The home was beautifully decorated and had everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing visit. The location was great, and the neighborhood was peaceful. We were late for breakfast, but Rodrick was so kind and made it for us anyway. We would love to stay here again on our next trip :)

Room was very comfortable with traditional features still in place in the middle of Nadur. Close to amenities and with space to park. Original breakfast options based on home made and fresh ingredients.

Male host unhelpful and not friendly. Couldn’t even smoke in open air patio. Early pack breakfast was god-awful!! Sandwiches were four pieces of bread with slim piece of cheese and one slice of meat. Advertised a a farmhouse but was not! In downtown.

A beautiful Maltese home perfectly restored with fantastic rooms. The hosts were very attentive and thoughtful. Breakfast in the courtyard was wonderful.
