The Captain's Lodge Looe

It was a stunning location, with wonderful views over the town. On the rainy days we found the living room cosy, and when the weather was better we explored the area a bit more, taking the scenic train to Liskeard and visiting the quaint fishing village of Polperro. The internet was great too, when I needed to check in with my work, or when the kids watched their shows on the TV set. The kitchen was well kitted out, we were able to cook the food we wanted during our stay.

No complaints - only the weather could have been better - but this is England.

Great location, a beautiful walk in to town along the estuary. The flat was large and well laid out, with beautiful soft furnishings to make it a home from home. The bed was comfy and shower was great. Kitchen was well equipped with everything we needed. Really was a lovely place to stay and parking a bonus!

The Captain's Lodge is a true gem that exceeded my expectations. The standout feature of The Captain's Lodge is undoubtedly its breathtaking views, especially at night. As the sun sets, the town and estuary transform into a mesmerizing spectacle of twinkling lights. The proximity to the beach is a definite highlight for those seeking a coastal retreat. Whether it's a morning walk along the shoreline or an evening spent watching the sunset, the convenience of being so close to the beach added an extra layer of relaxation to my stay. Equally impressive was the location relative to the culinary center, situated within a stone's throw from an array of delightful restaurants. Exploring the local food scene was a joy, with each dining establishment offering a unique blend of flavors. The convenience of having such a variety of dining options within walking distance made my evenings both convenient and delectable.

The bathroom unfortunately had a small chip in the sink but overall the Captain's Lodge itself is a testament to thoughtful design and impeccable hospitality. The rooms are tastefully decorated, exuding a cozy charm that instantly makes you feel at home.
