The Vendue, Downtown Art Hotel

We stayed at the Enclave, right across the street from the main hotel. The location was convenient and the hotel (main & enclave) were very nice, with an eclectic vibe.

A few things made our 1-night stay "nice" versus "very nice": -- The music in the hallway was a bit loud and could be heard throughout the night in guest rooms -- The valet parking at $49 + tip seemed a bit high -- There was no refrigerator in the room

Clean, quiet, comfortable and great location

The location was perfect, very close to the water. The sights and walking paths were incredible.

I retired after 53 years of working and booked a celebratory 5-day trip to Charleston to celebrate with my son; who lives there. On day 2, I was accused of smoking in the room when I was absolutely not guilty of doing so, which caused me high stress and anxiety for the rest of my stay. There are a lot of details to go with this, but this is the gist. After I checked out I still had to argue against the false cleaning charge when I finally won the battle and received an apology. The room did, however, have a strong odor of mildew. My milestone life event and celebration dreams were tainted by this experience. It was perfect in every other way but for the enclave attack on my integrity. The Enclave would have exceeded my expectations if not for this. Even the mildew was acceptable since the location is smack dab in Charleston's flooding zone

the rooms at the range at 26 Vendue had much nicer than 19 Vendue. The restaurant Revival was excellent.

The room in 19 Vendue was very small.

We loved our stay at the Vendue Beautiful hotel, it was clean, comfortable and great location. We loved treats at night, fruit and danish/ muffins at our door, brewed coffee in the morning, and bikes available to use. The staff was friendly and helpful. So happy we stayed here.💙

The room was very clean, the staff was exceptionally friendly, the little touches like champagne and pastries goes a long well to make you feel welcome. It was better than I thought it would be.
