A Lounge Hostel

Great location in Ella - really close to the town but down a quieter road and very near the train station! Really nice and friendly staff, and they had scooter rental on site and I think you can book tours etc with them there too. The fan was above the bed which was really useful with the mozzie net. They have good luggage storage, and the bathrooms were really clean and one had a rainshower which was lovely! They also have a nice balcony and seating in the cafe downstairs.

A few older reviews had mentioned that the walls don’t go all the way to the ceiling but we didn’t see these when we booked or I think we would have reconsidered - the walls are only thin wood so you can hear everything outside anyway, but as there was no floor to ceiling wall the main lobby light lit up our room too 🤣 someone did also manage to turn a blue light on in our room at 1am from outside our room which was also a bit of a surprise! You could hear everyone talking in all the other rooms, so we spent our time whispering, but it does mean you rely a bit on not sharing the accommodation with noisy or less considerate people. It would also be good if the doors had an actual latch rather than a padlock and a shed door lock, as that made it a bit of a pain when one of you was out the room and the other in it! We also found that the wifi wasn’t very good or reliable - most of the time it didn’t work in our room, and often didn’t work out in the lobby either.

The facilities are great. Everything was super clean and the host are very friendly. Loved it!

The place was very tidy and nice . Simple but that’s what we enjoyed the most . We got assistance with everything we asked for & we felt super welcomed .❤️

Very cosy and has every facility a solo or group traveller needs. Staffs were very friendly and the stay has an open space that has nice comfy bean bags. Great an affordable price and really close to the city centre.
