Lovely spot and really pretty village. Everything you need there, shame we were only staying for 2 nights we would have liked to stay longer. We really appreciated fresh milk in the fridge and tea bag’s after a long journey. And the host Michelle was really helpful and friendly.

"Lovely stay in a beautiful location with excellent facilities and a kind and attentive host."

Serene cottage with beautiful views across fields and magnificent sunsets, lovely balcony accessed from the living room perfect for sunny evenings. The cottage was very well equipped with every facility you could ask for and superb for young children, host was extremely friendly and full of suggestions to improve our stay. Excellent experience!

The host was available on arrival and was very friendly. Was available during the stay if needed. Beds were super comfortable, the cottage was well decorated, clean and furnished. It was nice to have a well stocked kitchen - all too often there are insufficient pans and utensils to cook in cottages, but not at Tanyard Barn. Breakfast items were a welcome bonus too. Amazing views of the countryside

Lovely location. Easy to find. Near York. Very peaceful. Very clean. Very comfortable. Lovely touches like, milk in fridge ready and breakfast items. We would visit again if in the area.
