Sleeping barrel lodge Smaken av Ryfylke Event AS, drives ikke som hotell

For us, it was a convenient place for a one night stopover on our bike tour of Norway. The views from the window were good. Showers (in the main building, not in the cabinet themselves) were good. Owners were friendly and helpful. There was, I believe, a sauna available for use, but we didn't't get a chance to try it out.

There seems to be a lot of building work going on in and around the site. The overall experience will be improved once this are complete. There was no power of any kind in the cabins themselves, so no facilities for charging your mobile and any other accessories (sockets ARE available in the main building). There was no light in the cabin which is not a problem at the end of June / beginning of July, but would still have been useful.

Unique but exceeded our expectations. Hosts were wonderful. The common facilities were clean, comfortable and more than adequate. The chargepoint in the parking lot was convenient as well.

Ikke morgenmad m i overnatning . Det kunne der godt ha været . Har boet på fint hotel i Stavanger incl morgenmad til samme pris. Vi fik en 4 retters menu til aftensmaden . Den var virkelig god. Kok og tjener meget imødekommende og søde. Kokken tog også godt imod og ved ankomsten . Tønderne sov vi godt i og fine fællesfaciliteter som bad , køkken mm
