The courtesy and kindness of the staff, the cleanliness of the spaces (the whole area was clearly taken care of regularly and precisely, the swimming pool was flawless). We only stayed one night but we felt really welcome. Also the breakfast was very nice.

It took a bit of tinkering to understand how the coffee machine worked, and the bed was a bit squeaky (really soft and comfortable though) 😅

Loved the location and grounds of Le Balze. Was met by Giancarlo who was covering for Valentina who was out of town. So close to Perugia centro but far enough away for space, peace and quiet. Lovely breakfast set outside of our room each morning - fresh pastries, coffee, tea, and water.

No complaints!

Valentina is an exceptionally friendly, warm and welcoming host. Her lovely home makes you feel like you are one the locals. She made sure we were comfortable at all times and went the extra mile to make sure our trip extra special. Valentina has this incredible ability of giving you your own space and privacy whilst still managing to be present and responsive should you ever need her. I really appreciated this quality.
