Villa Rodica, Bled

We took both the one and two bedroom apartments as a whole vila for our family of 6. We stayed for 9 days. Great location near the lake (our son was also training kayak on the lake). Everything was new and comfortable. Great kitchen and bedrooms. Good private parking spot.

No elevator which was not comfortable with luggage. But only a few stairs to take so on daily basis it was just fine. Other than that it was perfect.

We had a wonderful time staying in this recently renovated, spacious, and modern villa. The large covered parking space was a big plus, and the location is excellent—close to local attractions and just a short walk to the small Bled beach, where you can swim in fairly clean freshwater (you'll notice you need to paddle a bit more compared to saltwater). We stayed on the top floor, just under the roof, and enjoyed beautiful views. The villa also had a lovely spot outside to sunbathe or chill. The pull-out couch was very spacious when extended, measuring 160cm by 200cm, providing comfortable extra sleeping space. The starting point for the local sightseeing train is just a few hundred meters away, and the train station is nearby as well, though be prepared for some stairs. This is also the place where paragliders land. We experienced no disturbances during our stay—it was perfectly peaceful and surrounded by greenery. A walk around Lake Bled is easily doable, and there are plenty of hiking opportunities nearby. Bled Castle is also close by, and it’s easy to reach either by car or on foot. The food in Slovenia is excellent, with many fresh products sourced from local farmers, all at reasonable prices.

The pictures do not do this place justice. The views and location are incredible. It's just a short walk to a fab swim spot, which was perfect for summer swimming. Easy to walk to other spots around the lake too. Apartment was lovely, you can't help looking out at the view all the time with a cup of tea or glass of prosecco in hand. Super comfy beds too and everything is done to a high standard. Was a lovely place to retreat back to after a long day of exploring.

Nothing we didn't like! We love to self cater so a few more bits in the kitchen would be great like a colander for draining pasta etc, and for washing fruit and veg. But honestly, it's a tiny thing in the grand scheme of things.

It was the best accommodation I have ever been. Amazing view to the lake, well equipped apartment, very helpful owner (thanks for the recommendations!), plus points for the sauna. We'd love to return!

Perfect for few days on Lake Bled - kitchen is well equipped, apartment is spacious and brand new. Location is on the quiet side of the lake with easy access to several swimming spots! Host is very friendly and helpful

Wonderful old villa close to the lake Bled. Inside everything is super modern and clean! The owner gave us a warm welcome with insider tips to do around Bled! We really enjoyed our stay in this luxurious apartment with lake view!

The beds were really comfortable. The apartment was modern, clean and big enough for the 4 of us. Amazing bathroom. close to the lake.
