Hotel Rumis Jaisalmer & Safari

I have been to many hotels in India I would like to say this is one of the worse experiences. You can find many hotels with better prices, rooms, services and location. First, the staff texted me and demanded 40% of the payment upfront, completely against Booking.com’s “pay at the property” policy. I paid 5040₹ for a room that wasn’t worth more than 1000₹. While I understand it’s peak travel season, the price should at least match the quality and this not even close. The location is ok, requiring a 15-minute walk to the city center. The room was not worth and unimpressive, with no hot water available at night. The rooftop, which could have been a highlight, seemed completely empty and neglected. The staff were rudely, unhelpful and didn’t even offer to assist with carrying luggage. On top of that, the hotel doesn’t provide essential toiletries like soap or shampoo.

Worst experience of my life. No electricity, no toiletries, very congested rooms. Frequency electricity disruptions without power back-up. I will suggest everyone not to go there.

Lovely place, not far from the road , but quiet, nice rooftop, room is small, but cozy, very good price and a very friendly owner, highly recommended

There was very comfortable room. Staffs are kind and allowed me to have early buggage drop and keep until my departure.

The shower was not working well. Both hot and cold water stopped after some minutes I use
