Friendly, family atmosphere.

The Aya Ni is an excellent hostel in a quiet location and with great, very clean and newly renovated rooms. The sanitary facilities are particularly positive! The large property offers a real jungle feeling, a great lounge area invites you to socialize in the evenings. Tim is the operator, a German who has been living with the Shipibo for many years. He is super nice and helpful and can give a lot of information about the environment and culture that you probably wouldn't get otherwise. Thank you very much for the great time!!! absolute recommendation!!!

It was nice to be surrounded by plants, to have kitchen available, the guy on reception was friendly and spoke english. I was travelling with a friend and we booked two rooms, but payed as for one room double occupation, otherwise it would be much overpriced.

Well... the place has great potential, and maybe it used to be cool, but now it looks and feels quite abandoned. First impression was quite a disaster, mess all around the common spaces, dirty kitchen , as you are in some punk/hippie house. I'm not sure that bed linens in my room were clean. There was no extra bedsheet to cover in the night. I didn't experience taking plants there, but the space for ceremonies didn't feel inviting at all. I guess for someone it might be ok, but don't expect to find shining friendly environment as in the photos. Many mosquitoes, take your repellent

Excellent experience! Great place for those interested in plant medicines. Dominic is a genuinely good guy with tons of knowledge in this area. I had a bad ayahuasca experience elsewhere and Dominic went out of his way to help me through it and check on me afterward. His care, support and guidance helped me get through a very dark and difficult experience. These are genuinely caring people who have a beautiful vision for this place. Wish I had more time during my journey to return here and spend more time with these lovely folks, and explore plant medicine with them.

At first I was a bit hesitant to book a room at Aya-ni because it looked a bit too hippie for me 😜. But these bunch of hippies are some of the sweetest people I’ve ever met. Knowledgeable, empathetic & laid-back. It’s got a beautiful rooftop view, beautiful garden, a sauna, outdoor showers, chill living room & the room had everything I needed. You got a problem finding a good shaman? Did you have a bad ayahuasca experience and feel down on your luck? Aya-ni is the place to relax, recollect yourself and get some valuable advice & insights into the plant medicine scene. I’ve had some wonderful spiritual conversations with the owner, staff and guests. It’s always nice talking to like minded people. Don’t hesitate booking a room with AYA-NI, other hotels and hostels in Puccalpa are simply overpriced, noisy and boring as hell.

The stuff takes care of you, it’s a warm place to stay. The taxist knows better Dominic that the place or have googlemaps on to give oriente the taxist. There are working on the hostel but the room are sweet and individual shower et toilet inclued.
