The building and rustic environment are very pretty; obviously, a lot of thought was put into renovating a historic farmhouse and creating a stylish space. We used to own a farm and really like rustic spaces. The communication and system for self-check-in is efficient. When we had a question after we arrived, the staff person (who lives off-site) came over swiftly to assist us. We appreciated the availability of a shared refrigerator.

In short, they have prioritized style over comfort, in our estimation. This was one of sixteen places we stayed at during an October trip in northern Spain. Some places were more pricey and others less so. We chose their mid-priced room, and yet it was still rather small. The bed was the least comfortable of all of the places in which we stayed. The hot water for the shower is heated by a boiler in an adjacent shed, and takes *forever* to arrive at the shower. We had some anxiety, while waiting for it to warm, that it wasn't working and no one was on site! Finally, they have a very fancy coffee maker that did not work properly for us. We have used many pod machines. And the kind staff person reviewed its use with us, yet it did not generate coffee correctly for us. Since we are generally handy and self-sufficient, we went looking for a manual online, but this particular model (as I recall, an italian machine, very stylish but not so functional) could not be found.

Lovely rural setting - amazing and caring staff, who will go out of their way to ensure you have a wonderful experience and get the most of the area.

It is not sound proofed enough between floors , which can be a bit of an issue at night (depending in what room you end up staying - rooms at ground floor/lower level being the most affected) Pls add yoghurt to the breakfast (very tasty!) options!

Wonderful house in impressive nature setting

We didn’t like the beds, far too small (130 wide?) for international standards and the mattress is very uncomfortable. Furthermore, the lighting is horrible (many different colors) and there were holes in the wall. It’s a pity that there is not taken good care as the house is really nice. Furthermore, Booking claims there is a restaurant but this is not correct. Nearest is 20min drive by car.

- the house is situated in a beautiful location - the room was spatious and very clean - the host was very helpful - perfect location for exploring the region *by car*

- the free wifi was not very fast (perhaps understandable given the remote location) - soundproofing of the rooms is poor... - only shared fridge and microwave

It was quiet, peaceful and our room was quite nice and comfy

Felt like a little piece of paradise. I wanted to stay all day in the room (sitting on a very comfortable, beautiful wooden bed) and enjoy the view over the garden and the mountains

I liked everything. Only, it would be great if there were nets for bugs in at least one window, so we could leave it open for the night without the worry about mosquitoes.
