Townhouse in El Palm-Mar

We had a truly wonderful stay in a duplex with spectacular amenieties. The accommodations had everything we needed and the weather was perfect for enjoying the nearby beach. The host was incredibly friendly and provided us with great advice. Overall, it was a fantastic experience that we would highly recommend to others.

I recently stayed at this lovely duplex for a short-term rental and it was an absolutely wonderful experience. From the moment I arrived, I was impressed with the cleanliness and attention to detail in the space. The furnishings were comfortable and stylish, and the amenities provided made my stay all the more enjoyable. Throughout my stay, I appreciated the responsiveness of the property management team. They were always available to answer my questions and make sure that my needs were met. Additionally, the location of the duplex was ideal for exploring the surrounding area.  Overall, I would highly recommend this duplex for anyone looking for a comfortable and convenient short-term rental. The attention to detail and exceptional service provided by the property management team truly made my stay unforgettable.

When we arrived we were told that the Wifi not working. We work for ourselves so this was extremely stressful as you can imagine. It took 4 days to get this fully resolved, with the technician having to visit twice. We then discovered that the Air con was not working. The technicians came at 8.30am to investigate and woke us up and then the next day came back again to spend 3 hours ripping out all the old equipment and refitting new units. We put the dishwasher on to discover it didn’t work either and needed completely replacing. We we informed when we arrived that the house had not been inhabited for a very long time and that we were the first people to rent from them. The property had previously been cleaned and did smell lovely, but in places was extremely dusty as if workmen had been in after the cleaner and not cleaned up. The kitchen only had one ovenproof dish. The “Private” pool and pool area is shared with the other houses next door. We had workmen in the house for first 4 days which was extremely annoying. One morning later in our stay the gardeners turned up with their leaf blowers and hedge trimmers at 8.30am. Not great when you are on holiday! The property was overpriced from the start and this stress occurred because no one had been in the property for a very long time. Before renting it out, someone should have thoroughly checked to make sure all equipment was fully functioning. It ruined the beginning of our holiday and I would have expected a decent refund considering the inconvenience. They offered me €100 and refused to budge on that. We had one day of heavy rain and the water leaked into the property causing damp. The chairs were rusty and the bar stool mouldy. All the bathroom fixtures were covered in rust and some of them broken in a dangerous fashion. It was clear that the owners hadn't bothered to check the state of the property and only wanted to make money on the booking. Such a shame as it really didn't make for a nice experience.
