Reception is located inside the magic and fantasy inspired Café “El Alquimista”, famous for its colorful drinks and food, a 5-minute walk from Wonderland Hostel. Guests get a 10% discount on all the magical menu. You can enjoy a delicious Guatemalan coffee or a cocktail, or just chill on their beautiful terrace! Things to note: *Please note that we currently only accept cash payments. *Please note that any damage to the property will be charged to your credit card. *The included breakfast is served between 8 and 10am. *A Q100 charge might be applied to your card upon booking, this is simply to verify your credit card's credentials and will be canceled the same day. *Check-in time: 3pm-9pm. Check-out time: 11am Hostel rules: 1. No parties allowed, we want our guests to be able to relax. 2. No smoking allowed inside. 3. Please do not throw any toilet paper or sanitary products in the toilets, as it clogs the pipes and can contribute to floods on the streets of our city during rainy season.This property does not accommodate bachelor(ette) or similar parties.

"Very good"

Really loved the rooms. Good curtains, perfect temperature at night. Also a small but decently equipped kitchen. The location is a few blocks from the main square. Breakfast was also good, it was nice thing the fairy coffee.

As the cafe seems to be the main business there wasn't much staff around the hostel while I was there, so for questions you'd have to text or walk over.

A bit difficult to find the cafe as the route indicated on Google Maps from the hostel to the cafe was a bit confusing.

I loved the theme. The included breakfast was delicious and not what you would usually get anywhere else. Staff was super friendly and the facilities were very clean

"Check-in is somewhere else!"

First of all, once you make a reservation, you get an e-mail stating that check-in is somewhere else - it´s "only" 5 minutes away, but further down from the center, so if you have a backpacks, not that pleasant as you need to walk it back, too. :) Dorm is very basic, felt like going back 10 years ago when it was normal to have just one socket for a whole room. On the other hand, a free breakfast was REALLY GOOD! Still, if I would have known all above, I would not book this hostel.
