The house is very very cold and it needs a bigger aircon on the lounge. It can be nice during hot summer nights.

Remarkable. This is a stunning place, and the host was very friendly.

The bed base was in bad condition. Had to move mattress to the floor

Place looks good and looks just like the pictures. It's a good location, nice neighbourhood. Great and friendly hosts who were quite accommodating in terms of check in. Decent gas stove although a bit tiny, but it's nice to have when loadshedding strikes.

Place was pretty unclean on arrival, dust everywhere, dead bugs on the floor, uncleaned pans, and worst of all... tons of tiny hairs on a mirror and the floor from what I can only assume was a previous occupant shaving their beard. Water was very inconsistent, took ages to heat up, and when it did heat up, it would cycle randomly between being hot and cold. It could not keep the same temperature, even if you kept the water only somewhat warm. The shower has no curtain, so when you shower it just gets everywhere, flooding the bathroom. The property entrance is shared, so you have people driving past the house constantly to get to an inner gate where they stay behind. These people also leave their vehicle running and talk loudly to their friends right outside your bedroom window. Their dogs are SUPER noisy, and are outside barking high pitched all day. While the place looks nice, it's constructed extremely cheaply. Windows and doors flex a lot from even a little pressure. There's window bars, but they are completely useless made from the cheapest and softest plastic. The doors are horrible and have problems shutting and opening, and the door handles on them I can't even imagine where you could possibly buy. I think you have to experience it to truly understand. I've never seen anything like it before, and it mostly resembles something belonging on a childrens miniature playset, that's how tiny and thin the door handles are. WiFi has no battery backup, bit sad with loadshedding. Nearly all the wall outlets are in bad spots, like behind a table, or behind the headboard. Not ideal in vacation homes and there's also very few. The bed is terrible and gave me and my girlfriend back pains. I don't expect much but it was really bad and kept creaking from any movement. A bit too many corners were cut, and it's honestly a bit deceptive compared to what you expect from the pictures. It's giving flip home type construction.
