Route79 Holiday Park Geraldine

I loved the friendly welcome and the cute little bedroom, with everything I needed. Most of all, the appreciates the heater, as it turned cold in the evening.

Not a thing. The stay was exceptionally wonderful.

Clean, affordable cabins that have the most comfortable beds in New Zealand. Staff was easy to work with and accommodating. Facilities are clean, organized, and had everything we needed.

The holiday park is outside of town, so a car is necessary if you don't want to walk the five or so kilometers to town.

Unplanned stay after picking up partner in Wanaka and driving back to CHC, all that was available but was pleasantly surprised. Very comfy bed, warm room, Think double glazing as close to the road but couldn’t hear traffic. Basic but very clean. Got in quite late but staff still there and were friendly

Not much lighting at night to get from cabin to bathrooms.

The small cabin I was shown to stay in was so hot and airless, with no air conditioning and just a small fan - that I would not possibly have been able to sleep. The sun was still shining into the cabin at 6pm. So I forfeited my payment and had to drive another 20km to find somewhere to stay the night.
