Solomon and peter are extremely humble and truly know the value of hotel service and how to make a customer comfortable. They go out of the way to help and guide.

"It was cheap, at least"

4.0

Nice and cheap. Close to some nightclubs (fairly dodgy, but hey) Reliable wifi.

There was no sink. Not in the ensuite and not in the shared bathroom. How are you supposed to wash your hands or brush your teeth when there's no sink? Although most of the neighbourhood is paved, it's down a dirt road off another dirt road. Right next to a mosque, so you can set your alarm to the prayers at 5:30 every morning. It's quite a trek to anywhere in the city. Even Kabeka Palace and Kabeka's Lake, which are the nearest attractions, are a good 20 minutes' walk away. And the boda boda drivers don't know how to find it. I had one room for my first night, and then I had to move. 48K shillings ($US14) to do a load of washing!

"Nefasta experiencia"

1.0

This place is not recommended. The guesthouse is in a fairly dangerous area of Kampala. Homicides and other crimes. It's not a very appealing part. It is also not close to downtown or Acacia Mall, which are more attractive areas. The BodaBoda drivers do not accept going to the center because it is quite far from there. My wrong choose. Nothing interesting near the Guesthouse.

In my case I can't say anything positive. Basically I was there for a day and a half. I left my room key with the receptionist, who told me to trust him and that everything was safe. And the next day I found out that money had been stolen from my room. I have brought it to their attention and they are basically ignoring me. I think I'm going to report it to the police authority.

"very eye-opening!"

10.0

the staff were really friendly! They felt like one small family, taking care of us backpackers! the property was in the heart of the city! everything going on: from street food, to night clubs! the streets are alive at the night time! completely different vibe than in the morning daytime 🤣. really hospitable- i needed directions to travel out of Kampala, and Emmanuel peter (the person on duty) helped me to get out of Kampala safely. My first time travelling to Africa and i love it! I’m still here!! haha i don’t want to leave Uganda!
