Primera vez que me alojo en una Pousada portuguesa y ha sido una decepción total: - No había servicio ni de restaurante ni de cafetería. - Las instalaciones están decadentes, para nada se trata de un hotel de 4 estrellas. - El aire acondicionado no era capaz de enfriar la habitación en un día de mucho calor. - Accesorios del baño en mal estado: portarrollos y asidero de la bañera medio descolgados. - Desayuno poco variado. En definitiva, muy mala relación calidad precio, necesita una reforma total.

Remodelação incompleta

Several years since we last stayed here but pleased that this Pousada was an improved version from a decade or so previously when it was in need of bit of TLC. All the staff we encountered were excellent although that only extended to reception and breakfast as it was a brief overnighter. Booked here as we noticed a last minute reduction for B'n'B on Booking.com Still relatively expensive compared to regular hotels but everything is of a high standard. Lovely location overlooking the town. Quiet too. Ample parking. Impressive breakfast room and plenty of food and drink choice.

The in-house dinner option seems to be limited to a Michelin one star restaurant which I presume is open to non residents also. That's fine if you enjoy fine dining but my (Portuguese) wife and I prefer something less fussy so we walked down to town for a typical Portuguese menu . Regarding the walk into town, the most direct route is downhill which includes maybe 150 steps and some slightly uneven ground. Very picturesque though. Some may find this too daunting, especially the return journey. However, the town can be accessed pavement but it's much longer but a taxi wouldn't cost much.

Un edificio modernista realmente interesante, las habitaciones súper confortables y el personal excelente. Sin duda cuando vuelva a Bragança volveré. Aparcamiento gratuito dentro del recinto del hotel
