Two bedroom flat, North Oxford

Nothing I didn't like

The flat was a just 15 minutes drive from Oxford University and town centre. It has a nice kitchen with washing machine and dryer, very convenience if you’re travelling for a few days.

The mattress in the big room was a little bit small for the bed frame.

Located in a ~70s building(/suburb) with no lift, the apartment was much more vast than we expected. It was clean, very quiet with lots of light. Kitchen is very well equipped (2 ovens + microwave + washing + dryer + coffee machine) and the bedrooms are large. Bathroom recently renewed with bath AND shower. Lots of towels. Better suited for motorists as parking is easy and there is a private spot for the apartment. It is quite far from the city and walking there is out of the question; however, there are park and ride car parks not too far (5 min drive for the Peartree P+R) which offer a better deal than taking the bus (£5 day return ticket for 1 car+ 2 people in 2024, which is cheaper than 2 standard return tickets on a regular line). The neighbourhood might seem a bit dodgy at first, but it is peaceful. Considering the general prices for rentals around Oxford in the summer, this apartement was excellent price for value. I wouldn't stay there for a week, but for a couple of nights, it's perfect.

Beds are OK but noisy and you definitely feel the springs a bit. The sofa sits only 2 people in a 4-person apartment. Internet is slow and since there is no aerial TV (only web), watching TV while someone is surfing can be a challenge, and vice versa. We couldn't find the trash containers anywhere in the neibourghood and had to leave with our own trash. Some info about that in the apartement might help. We had to ask for the keycode on arrival via the booking app as no info was provided prior to our arrival. Response was prompt and friendly, though.

Good location + not far from park and ride so can get into Oxford city centre easily Julia is very friendly and communicates very well (telling me where to find the keys / what lock box / where to park etc) Clean place and well kept - would definitely stay again

Very nice flat. Easy access, all necesary information before arrival.

We liked everything it was comfortable and felt like home. Everything was available we didn’t have to worry at all, really it was a great place. We’ll definitely be visiting again the next time we’re in Oxford. Thank you for the amazing hospitality and welcome.
