The Beach Break Hotel El Cocal

Que hubiera alguna forma de poder ubicar mejor el hotel ya que tiene un hotel hermano en el zonte entonces si se pudiera elegir entre 1 y 2 o algo parecido para evitar la confusión de algún otro cliente

Staff was great. Very friendly and able to help with any questions or concerns I had. Hotel nice and clean. Pool was great. Breakfast near the waves wow it's priceless.

Parking an issue if hotel is full. But able to find parking.

Beautiful ocean views from the front Terrace and the upper floor of the restaurant. Terrace has lounging beds and hammocks where you can zipper drink and watch the waves and the beautiful sunsets. Very good food and excellent staff, very accommodating and helpful. Nice pool area.

The listing is misleading as it is not a sandy beach, but is filled with stones and boulders so it’s very difficult to get to the water. Rooms were very basic and very overpriced for what they are. Also, there’s no cleaning service, no drinking glass, no towel bars in bathroom and you need to take out your own trash. More like a hostel than a hotel. The hotel sells pool access to people not staying at the hotel and it’s very busy on the weekend but during the week it is much calmer.

The breakfast was really good the first day and the second day it was okay. Loved that it included breakfast. Loved how you walk right outside of the patio and the ocean was right there. It was the perfect spot for the sunset and just watching the waves. You can walk the coast and go check out other bars and restaurants that are close by that was very nice. Enjoyed the room and it had good AC especially because it does get pretty warm there and humid. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The walls are thin so you may here the people next to you at times but overall wasn't bad.

The walls being a little thin in the rooms you can hear the other people pretty well if they are in their room. I will say the shower was a little interesting. We used it and it would flood very easily so you couldn't take a long shower, and the water was like warm didn't get pretty hot. Not sure if we just didn't see it but would be nice to have an area to wash the sand off your feet before heading back to your room and not having to do it in your shower.
