Grandpa's House in Hateg

Casă bine dotată, curat, paturile super moi, distracții pentru copii și maturi la alegere. Gazdă foarte amabilă și înțelegătoare

Locație superbă, zonă liniștită, toate facilitățile. Tiroliana a fost atracția principală pentru copii. Un loc unde te simți ca acasă de la început până la sfârșit.

Accomodation was homely, and was well equipped for a family (3 young kids). Beds were comfortable and the house was clean. Kids loved the back garden to run around and play. Neighbours were also friendly and asked if we needed any help on arrival. Location wise it was quiet and out of town, which meant we had to use the car to access local amenities, but for us this was ok. It was a give minute drive down to Hațeg which had everything we needed. We visited a little Dinosaur museum in Hațeg, which was small but the staff were really friendly and they did a great personal tour for us (in English!) which we were very impressed with. It was also an easy drive to Castelul Corvinilor and a spur of the moment visit to the model railway museum (Muzeul Trenulețelor Valentin Banciu) which were both in Hunedoara and really good to be visit with kids. We've stayed in a lot of accomodation across multiple countries (15+) in Europe with our kids and we wouldn't hesitate to book this place again.

Probably couldn't be helped out in the country but there were a lot of flies in the house when we arrived. It's also advisable arriving from Hațeg (south) as the road over the top to Hunedoara (heading noth) was being repaved at the time and was quite a challenging road to drive even without this.

House is very clean, has a great location, very quiet, nice spacious garden
