Very weird place in March, like a ghost town. Hotel was fine, just seriel( spelling?) Handy for ferry. Restaurant across road

"Great location for overnight stay in Ha Long Bay"

Lovely clean rooms. The receptionist upgraded our room free of charge so that we could get a larger room with a balcony overlooking the dock. The hotel was situated right next to the dock where our Ha Long Bay day cruise ended which made it ideal for an overnight stay. The hotel is not too far from the city and getting a grab (uber) into the city was very easy for an evening out. The hotel was also within walking distance from the ferry that took us to Cat Ba Island the next day.
