Casa Oasis Guest House and Spa

It was stunning, peaceful, and romantic. The photos on the website don’t do it justice. The pool and common areas are set up in such a welcoming way. The support of the owners (George and Sara) and staff (Lupita and Arun and others!) to guide us in our exploration of Mérida and to keep the place clean was much appreciated. And the breakfasts? Fantastic. Varied, healthy, filling and above all-delicious! I also enjoyed a massage while there that was fantastic. I really appreciated the opportunity to have it at the location in such a lovely space.

I liked everything about the property.

Beautiful place! Rooms were super clean and comfortable. Hosts were very friendly and welcoming. The breakfast was different each day and very tasty. Location is great too - easy walking distance to everything in Mérida. Highly recommend!

Our room and the common areas of this guesthouse are wonderful. Beautifully designed, maintained and meticulously cleaned. The pool and gardens are gorgeous. Plenty of chairs, chaises and tables in the courtyard are available to read, write or just relax. Our room and bathroom were large, well appointed and easily climate controlled. Our bed was very comfortable. Hosts George and Sarah were gracious and open. We saw them everyday as they were living on site at the time, but totally unobtrusive. Communication not in person was easy and informative. Lupita made us a delicious breakfast every morning and was always around to offer a freshly made piece of cake and a coffee, tea, or juice. The house was on a quiet street and the neighborhood seemed very safe. Additionally, the property seems very secure. There was plenty of parking right in front of the inn. Merida has a lot of charm and plenty of museums, markets, great restaurants and many spectacular day trip opportunities.

Not being able to stay longer.

The hosts, George and Sarah (+1) were an amazing couple and hosts. The Oasis was just that. An Oasis. From the welcoming colours and beautiful gardens, the background sounds of water and soft jazz, to the most comfortable rooms and inspiring artwork. We were greeted every time we came ‘home’ with genuine interest and warm conversation. Lupita created an amazing breakfast every morning and even shared some ingredients with me through a translate app. A really lovely person. Sylvia treated us to one of the best massages we’ve ever had. The location was an easy walk to basically any of the historic sites and restaurants. Merida is a very friendly place where we were stopped a few times by locals for no reason other than to share a bit of the area history and give suggestions of places to see and restaurants to experience. Great city.

George and Sarah were wonderful and gracious hosts. Lupita served excellent and varied breakfast each morning. With only a few rooms the property layout provided privacy and was beautifully landscaped. We took advantage of some spa services provided by professional therapists.

The room and overall property is beautifully decorated and appointed. Our room was very large. Lovely toiletries. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful. The location of the property is excellent for walking around the city. The breakfast was delicious and different each day.

The property is close to great restaurants and places to shop . It’s Also on a quiet street . We stayed in the room with its own patio upstairs . Very private , comfortable bed and pillows . Lots of windows , beautiful art on the walls . The main area which is shared , has a nice pool and lounge chairs , tables and chairs where the breakfast is served . The breakfast is very healthy and is vegetarian . We had stuffed zucchini one morning and a one egg omelette with vegetables in it the second morning . Served with toast , fresh orange juice and coffee . Lupita served us our breakfast , always with a smile . We loved our stay here , and would highly recommend this beautiful B@B.

We don’t have any dislikes about this B@B , just a couple of suggestions . A standing light in the bedroom would be nice , so one wouldn’t need to turn on the other bright lights . A night light in the bathroom .

Very Cozy Stay!

The house and rooms are beautiful. There are a lot of thoughtful little details that make your stay comfortable and memorable. The breakfast is delicious and during our stay there was fresh pound cake available for us to snack on during the day if we were ever hungry. Lupita, the house staff, was incredible. She was attentive, responsive, and very friendly. Probably the best staff we interacted with during our whole trip. The house is located in a great neighborhood. Very quiet and easy to walk to everything.
