"Very enjoyable, warm and comfortable stay"

Ideal location for the train station and five sisters zoo, perfect for families. More than enough room within the property, very clean and well kept, homely touches and great parking. Prompt communication with the host, friendly welcome to the property and special touches such as a Christmas tree up on arrival (1st December)

Nothing really, would absolutely stay again. If we were to be nitpicking, basic sundries in the kitchen would have been helpful such as cooking oil but didn’t hinder our stay.

Everything! This place is a real gem! A little out of Edinburgh but located right by West Calder railway station which was perfect for us hopping on & off. The property is beautifully presented, large rooms, comfy beds, lovely bathroom & large kitchen. My little boy loved the extra room at the rear of the property with the large tv! It was perfectly placed for our trip to Five Sisters Zoo which was nearby too. David was extremely accommodating letting us drop our bags a little early too. The property was spotless too, we would definitely look to return in the summer as the views at the rear of the property look stunning! Thank you for our stay. Gemma & family

Theres not much really close to the property but the close proximity of the railway station doesn’t make this too much of a problem!

Exceptional quality, it was spotless. Location was perfect and the hosts were more than accommodating. Beds were very comfortable and had fresh linen. Highly highly recommended!!
