Casa sul mare Mery

Die Lage ist hervorragend direkt in der Altstadt von Polignano a mare. Die Aussicht der Terassen sind traumhaft. Immer gerne wieder. Adriana ist eine sehr nette Gastgeberin, die uns gute Tipps für Ausflüge und Restaurants gegeben hat und jederzeit kurzfristig zu erreichen war. (Was eigentlich nicht nötig war). Die Wohnung verfügt über alles was man braucht. Sehr vielen Dank für die tolle Unterkunft

Very clean, great location, and very helpful host

Lack of A/C in all rooms, description led me to think there was A/C in every room. Small bedroom was hot & stuffy, bed was uncomfortable, had to add mattress from the pullout bed. The couch was not comfortable to sit on, there was no other furniture in the main room to sit & relax on. Only one fan in the kitchen, which we moved into the small bedroom which left the kitchen sweltering. The owner did provide another fan when we asked for on our 3rd day. Owner told us only 1 sun lounger available as the 2nd one was broken, the remaining sun lounger was also cracked & uncomfortable, we had to ask for another lounger to be provided, (as I told the owner, we intended to use the terrace most days), the lounger was only provided on the evening of our 2nd last day, so we only got use of it for 1 day out of 7 on our last day. The owner had also said on the first day she showed us round, the sun umbrella was also broken, We asked for a replacement & she told us there was one we could use, we tried both umbrellas there & both were broken. This led to us not being able to use the terrace & had to pay at the beach for sun loungers & umbrella, this was an additional cost we really didn’t need if the owner had replaced the broken items before we arrived. The shower is very compact with not much room, we had to go into the kitchen to dry ourselves.

The apartment is right into the historical centre of Polignano a Mare and first row of the budlings in front of Adriatic sea. Is a tiny but cosy apartment, very comfortable and well equipped. The host, Adriana it was very kind and she was coming to property to handle the keys and gave us all useful information about apartment and the places to be visited around. The masterpiece of the flat is the amazing terrace with a beautiful view to Adriatic and coasting cliffs. There is also a second terrace equipped with sunbeds and umbrella. The sunrise and sunsets from terrace are memorable. The parking is free onto the street, sometime you need to drive around to find a slot but all time we found around building. Also the apartment is 5 minutes away of Lama Monachile beach and 35 minutes driving from Bari airport. The pedestrian street is just down steers of the flat and a lot of terraces coffee shops and restaurants around. I think this is one of the best option to seat in Polignano a Mare few days. Thanks Adriana for hospitality !

Nothing to dislike...may be as an improvement idea, an expresso machine will be matching perfectly with the terrace and sea view :)
