Two Bedroomed House near Newark & Grantham

Warm comfortable and very clean. The facilities were excellent , everything needed was provided to enable a short stay. The little log burner was an added bonus. And there’s plenty of parking at the rear

Not really a criticism, because it is a very rural location. but a car is required. As public transport options are virtually non existent. Despite there being a bus stop out front

Property was easy to find and private parking was on the doorstop. Very clean and tidy, and useful local information on the kitchen notice board. The cereals, bread, milk and jam were all very much appreciated, thank you! Nice little outside space to sit in too

Fantastic cottage very close to Arena UK. Very easy to find and a quick 6 minute journey back to the venue as you just drive left out the property and quickly on to the A1. Our 3.5t lorry fitted well in the back car park. We reversed in so we could drive straight out. The cottage was very clean, quiet and cosy. Kirsty had kindly provided bread, milk and cereals which was a lovely touch. Wi-Fi was good. Communication from Kirsty was faultless, very efficient and quick to reply/send info. The two of us were very happy as was my little dog who was very grateful it was dog friendly so he could come!

Nothing at all and we hope to come back next year!

Cosy and compact

The front door lock broke and so it took us an hour to try to get it to lock before we went to bed. The owners were responsive when I messaged them but they said they’d had issues before and so didn’t use the front door. It would have been helpful to have known this. There was some dirt in the shower and cobwebs

Ideal for what we wanted which was a little place to stay near Arena UK. Easy access to A1. Compact but everything we needed for a couple.

Parking was really tight we ended up using the bay outside mostly. The outside light didn’t work so was a bit dark arriving at night but we had our phone torches! If being really picky eater pressure in shower was a bit low but we live in rural location and have a small tank so have similar issue.

Nice clean little cottage in a quiet area and with easy access to the A1 should you wish to travel around. Easy parking and contact with the owner.

Property was great and had all we needed, the only item we were missing when cooking was salt and pepper we couldn't find.
