The Streamline Hotel - Daytona Beach

The receptionist was nice and pleasant.

The towels and rags were dingy. The AC unit was leaking all night and to top it off the power went out right when we were getting ready to check out.

Hotel was short walk to beach, friendly staff, room was clean

I’m not sure if it was the hurricane weather or what but overall hotel was in remodel mode. I believe there was just 1 usable floor of rooms. Bar on roof but elevator wasn’t usable. They had a bar in lobby but was never open. The overall area of Daytona Beach just seemed run down. I thought it would be a better place to visit but it was a disappointment. Honestly wouldn’t go back to area unless I was going to a race. It was unfortunate to see because the nostalgia of the hotel and history of it was really cool. They just need the remodeling done. I also prepaid thru booking for my stay and during checkout they almost tried to charge me another $80. Luckily they double checked and said it was good.

Good location, walking distance to a lot of attractions . Excellent service from the staff

The condition of the hotel, no running elevator, something couldn't be prepared before the electricity being out,no hot water one day and night, they couldn't offer the guest all of the drinks and food items due to the previous Hurricane, they shouldn't have rented out their rooms. They weren't clean,trash all around the property .
