Villa Alba, Berawa, Large Private 4BR Villa Near the Beach

The house is beautiful and the staff is really friendly

The Villa was so beautiful & absolutely huge & accommodated our large group of friends. The staff were all so attentive & lovely & made our stay amazing!

The villa was absolutely amazing. I wouldn’t change anything.

There was only 1 set of keys. So for a big group we always had to wait for the one with the keys to come home first if we were doing seperate things.

The bedrooms and outdoor area around the pool are really good.

New towels to the bathrooms are required. The breakfast was ok but we have had better breakfast at other villas.

Location, size, most staff, pool.

Dusk with mosquitoes, villa manager not returning messages, no tv as advertised, staff cleaning & sweeping at 615am, breakfast was meh, villa didn’t feel very secure.

The property is huge, bedrooms are very large and luxurious. The living area and pool are amazingly relaxing.

You’re a little removed from the main area of Canggu with the shops and restaurants. There is also another Villa Alba in Canggu so I had drivers go to the wrong place a couple of times. There are lots of mozzies and given the house is completely open in the main space there really is no getting away from them.

The location is good, and the villa design is cute. The breakfast is complimentary and the cook was really accommodating and the food was not bad at all.

Although the villa design is nice, It was extremely dirty, and a bit outdated. In one room the shower didn’t work and was protect and it didn’t seem to make a difference to the cleaner or owners. Kitchen could use a bit of uplifting in equipments their are all rusty. There was no coffee or water or anything for guests. There is construction right next to the villa so it’s not quiet. There are 2 adorable cats in the villa but should be mentioned for people who have allergies and don’t want to be woken up by the cats at the door and with their collar bells. In general optional indoor living spaces with aircon is needed in Bali (but that’s subjective feedback? Some people don’t mind the mosquitoes and heat)

The villa it wasn’t clean when we arrived: empty bottles or beer left from the former guests, rubbish in the sink, hairs in the bathoom…we called the owner and the staff cleaned the house again. Also the house felt like a zoo. There were cats - we asked them to keep them in the garage. gekkos everywhere which is fine but also two bit lizzards which are very scary, in addtion to crabs and frogs at night. We were 4 girlfriends and we ended up staying all in two rooms as it was quite scary.
