La casetta di Rosa

Soggiorno di 4 notti presso la casa al centro di mondello della signora Rosa.appena entrati un’ondata di profumo di pulito, frigo pieno di bevande fresche, prosecco di benvenuto e un ampia scelta di alimenti per la colazione.La cosa che più mi ha colpita è il profumo delle lenzuola pulitissime. La signora rosa è una persona molto carina e disponibile. Siamo stati benissimo e sicuramente lo straconsigliamo.

Our host Rosa was so very kind and helpful, communication was also great and on time. We were allowed to stay on the last day until late and that was such a kind of her. She organized the transfer from the airport for us which ment a lot to us since we arrived late. Everything that we needed was provided in the apartment - water, milk, coffee, tea, some breakfast for the first day, even vine, paper, dishsoap, showergel etc. Neigbhours were also very kind, so full of Sicilian character, we enjoyed our stay a lot. The beach is close so as restaurants, bakery and supermarket. There is also bus 806 to Palermo which goes very often and bus station is close, it takes up to 30 min to Palermo. Location of this apartment is perfect if you want to stay in Mondello.

Mostly all was good, only some minor fix in the bathroom are needed like toilet seat but the owner is aware of that. Also, to put in the apartment some schedule about what kind of trash is picked on which day would be great. I didn't like that Booking is not updated about tourist tax. We ended up with 4 eur per person per day and that was more than expected - that is not up to the owner but to the Booking.com for not being transparent.

Small, nice apartment. The location was excellent, true sicilian athmosphere, local neighbours. Everything was close, the super beach, many restaurants and bars, good caffes. The host lady was very nice, she left in the apartment food for breakfast, cafe and a bottle of prosecco for us.

The bed for two was on an inner floor which can be reached by a steep stairs what I didn't except. More glasses would be great.

The accommodation is completely in accordance with the pictures. We were greeted with breakfast and refreshments. it is close to the beach and is located in a very quiet street. The accommodation had everything you could need. I recommend it to everyone and I would gladly come back anytime. ☺️
