The Red Door, Two-Bedrooms Apartment

The location and interior was fine.

The outlook/exterior of the Apartment building was something which I didn't like. Needs proper maintenance.

Clean and well-equipped. Good location and easy to get to the old town by tram.

The water heater that caused a short circuit to us getting hot water.

Good location with city comunication and shops not so far. initial problems were quickly resolved by the hosts.

One bathroom and toilet for 5 people is not enough. some kitchen appliances out of use

very clean and spacious apartment in the city center. we loved staying in the Leith Walk area full of cafes and bakeries. the rooms were very spacious and bright and the apartment was warm. we loved the free coffee considering that an espresso is very expensive in edinburgh. We didn't have the pleasure of meeting the owner in person but he was very friendly via messages. we will definitely be back! The building from the outside reflect the age of the building, but from the inside is totally new! The private parking is an extra which permitted us to save money.

We were disappointed because the freezer, the dishwasher and the washing machine were out of service.

The location was perfect if you like to stay out of the city but close to everything too, it was so easy to get into Princes Street within 15mins with the Tram Stop close by. The flat is like a home from home comfy and clean, will definitely book again 😀😀

Remember to bring Tea and Coffee, there is a machine with pods which is great, but just normal tea and coffee take some along with you 🫖☕️

Location and size of the property

TV didn't work and Dishwasher was leaky

Location was fantastic, very near Leith Walk, Tesco Superstore, the Tram Stop, and nice Pubs. The host Nic was very nice and responded quickly on questions. Kitchen was stacked with coffee, coffee maker, and all cooking needs, including a dishwasher.

The building was a bit old but the apartment was clean and newly renovated. The beds were not so comfy (somehow felt itchy, not sure if it's the type of bedsheet linen used), and the towels provided were shedding lint. Good quality mattress, linen, comforter, and towels would help - expected from the price of the accommodation (high side - but maybe because it's peak season). Freezer and Washing Machine were not working (though not indicated as part of the facilities... still important items for a few nights stay).
