La Perle de Marrakech by Atlas Golf Resort

This is a gated complex, safe, pleasant to walk around where families with young children will feel comfortable and safe. Two swimming pools and an Astro football pitch and basketball court complete it. The staff: the manager Abdou Samad is incredibly attentive to guests needs and is always happy to arrange transportation and activities. Noora, who prepares breakfast was very kind with our kids and always beaming.

Thought not necessarily intentional, I think the name “resort” is misleading. It’s a gated complex. There are no restaurants, cafes or organised activities within the complex. Given cafes and restaurants are quite away, it would be most helpful to have one inside and perhaps a convenience store. Or simply be clear it’s a gated complex and customers can make informed choices. Though highly functional, my villa was a bit aged and the furniture and linen need to be refreshed. But I trust the management will attend to it.

Fijne locatie met huurauto, mooi en net resort, fijn zwembad

Verbleven met 2 volwassenen en 2 jonge kinderen. Appartement met 1 slaapkamer en zogenaamd nog 3 bedden in de andere kamer zou niet aangeboden moeten worden op die manier. Alleen het bed in de slaapkamer sliep oke. Er was ook geen beddengoed voor 4 personen, we hadden geen lakens, te weinig handdoeken voor 4 personen. Dakterras had geen loungebank zoals de foto's maar een oude stalen bank zonder kussens. Geen koffiezetappararaat, wasmachine kapot. Host leek ergens wel zijn best te doen, maar leek heel druk en gebruikte AI om te antwoorden. Snap ik voor het vertalen, maar AI schreef ook duidelijk de antwoorden, maakte de communicatie lastig.

The apartment is part of a set of houses surrounded by a wall acting like a fence. Inside, there are two nice swimming pools and many flowers. The place was really quiet and safe. A friendly lady came everyday to prepare breakfast. The host was reactive and once we had issue, he could address it.

The bathroom was not in a good condition upon arrival... but the host gave us another apartment and said he will fix it. The beds were initially not great (the sofa bed was too hard and the double-bed was too small) but much better in the second apartment. Be aware that this location is relatively far away from the center of Marrakesh. We had a car and this was not a problem.

Excellent séjour dans un domaine très calme, magnifiquement arboré, superbement fleuri et très sécurisé. Les trois piscines sont magnifiques et le décor est vraiment paradisiaque. Notre hôte exceptionnel Adbessamad, a été aux petits soins pour nous pendant tout le séjour pour organiser tous déplacements en ville à des tarifs modiques et proposer des excursions. Il a effectué lui-même le transfert aller et retour depuis l'aéroport et s'est montré constamment disponible pendant tout le séjour. Nous reviendrons dès que possible à la Perle de Marrakech dont nous gardons un excellent souvenir.

Il n'y a pas de possibilité de se nourrir sur place, pas de snack, pas de restaurant proche auquel on puisse se rendre à pied mais Abdessamad nous a gentiment emmené faire les courses en début de séjour. Le petit déjeuner marocain offert le premier jour est excellent.
