NZEverything was fabulous. The unit is beautifully presented and impeccably clean. Comfort and quality give the place a luxurious feel. Everything you could possibly need is provided. The hosts are so helpful and unobtrusive. They really made us feel welcome & comfortable. The breakfast was one of the nicest meals we had anywhere in Napier! The downhill walk to the central city was only about 10 minutes (a bit more coming back up) and we had no trouble getting all around Napier by taxi/uber from the location.

USHosts were very happy to provide information on the area and recommendations for restaurants. We loved the tour of their private gardens and bee hive. The apartment with an ocean view was beautifully decorated and extremely comfortable with some nice extras of wine, fruit, chocolates and milk for coffee. We loved the breakfast brought in on a cart at the time we asked for. We walked down the hill into town for the art deco tour which I would highly recommend. And we also walked up the hill and watched a beautiful sunset from the scenic overlook. The town is wonderful with lots of cute shops and restaurants. I wish we had more time to enjoy the long bike path along the waterfront.
Driveway is steep but after the first time going up we got the hang of it. The foot path to the apartment might be difficult for someone with mobility issues.
