Location is fantastic. Barge is very comfortable, well furnished, with everything you need for a short stay, including lots of books and games. Good communication with owners.

There is a strong smell of diesel in the kitchen. Understandable given the need for a generator, and dealt with by opening both windows in the kitchen and pulling the curtain to the living area, but could be more of an issue in the cold weather.

Great location and great host. We had a great time as a family and enjoyed feeding the passing ducks, swans and geese every morning from the window. The glasses of wine on the back seating area also went down a little too easily in the afternoon sun 😊

It is a boat, and for non boat people you need to remember that with respect to what the facilities will be like - ie caravan esque. It also relies on engines and generators etc, and so it requires a little gumption for everything to work as expected.

Nice and clean the staff were very helpful and the cost including breakfast was very well priced

Gorgeous stylist boat right next to a cracking pub and close to absolutely everything. Really cosy and well stocked they had a hairdryer and a fab coffee machine! Super helpful and quick to answer
