The Deer Hut

The hut was clean, tidy and compact with everything you need in a cosy space. The hair dryer, coffee, tea, spices, maps etc, were much appreciated. Everything was of really good quality and the hut was immaculate.

The bed, although comfortable, creaked every time you moved, which made for disturbed sleep. The backs of the dining seats were not as comfortable as they could be, due to the shoulder height wooden strips across them.

Really lovely area, lovely hosts, and a good escape from the busy world

It gets a bit warm in the summer! But what do you expect from a rustic cabin! Hardly a downside

Everything, absolutely fantastic

Very well appointed, cosy clean place. They had set up the fire wood in the stove so it just needed one march and it got warm and cosy in the cabin very quickly.

Lovely secluded intimate hut with everything you needed in a very cleverly designed cosy space. Apparently the shower was amazing and the bed very comfortable.
