The shower was nice.

This property is at a very poor standard. The mattresses are old and extremely uncomfortable - I could feel every spring even through the duvet. The heating was switched off due to it "not being winter" (it was April in the north of England) and so I was sleeping in full clothing in order to stay warm throughout the night. While a working oven isn't in the listing, it was in the pictures and so one can only assume it would work. The extractor fan also didn't work and was old and dusty. Cutlery, pots and plates - what little they had of them - were dirty upon arrival. There wasn't a frying pan so I was having to use a big pot to fry sausages for breakfast. There were no drinking glasses so you were either drinking out of a mug or a singular wine glass. The bathroom door didn't close properly, you could only push it to. One of the toilet buttons didn't work although the hosts now blame us for it as we didn't mention it as soon as we got there. We ended up only staying 2 of the 7 nights we'd booked after finding a much nicer property on AirBnB for the exact same price and a better location. When I messaged the host about our grievances, they were very unfriendly and said that they never described the property as "luxury". I didn't realise it was luxury just to be warm at night. These hosts clearly don't care about your stay, they just want your money. I fought for a refund but the hosts refused to pay.

Location

Place was very dirty, broken handles in the kitchen cupboards, dirty dishes, paint failing off the walls, dirty and stained bedsheets and blankets. I have asked for extra duvet as my partner is usually stealing mine during the night but I got answer that it cannot be provided.
