We had a lovely stay at the Palmetto Marriott Resort and Spa, despite all the rain. It was very clean, comfy beds and pillows ā€¦it was a very much needed and received time to be able to rest and relax. We are looking to plan our next visit already!!!!

I liked everything. Marriott never disappoints.

I didn't like the fact that I had to leave. I needed at least a couple more days to explore everything this Marriott has to offer.

The hotel is clean, the complementary coffee is very good. Although small, the jacuzzi is also nice.

The stated location of the property is misleading. The advertisement reads "0.7 miles from the beach." There is a bay nearby, but not a beach. The beach is actually a 20 minute drive away. Also, booking through booking.com caused a problem. The credit card we used to book was not the card we brought. The staff made a big deal about using an alternative card. Apparently the name had to match the booking.com name and credit card EXACTLY. It took about two hours to sort out the issue. The staff was rude regarding this matter. It soured the trip.
