Amazing Villa in El Faro

The pool and the outside space. However there was a lot of maintenance required. Broken lights, broken and sharp step in the pool, broken awning. They did come and fix the awning a couple of days into the holiday.

It was dirty. The sofa was covered with what looked like a fitted bed sheet and some grubby blankets. I didn’t sit on it because it looked so dirty. There was a dirty mop bucket left and a ladder. Fan was rusty. The 4th bedroom is separate from the villa and underneath the villa accessed through a separate entrance and with no air conditioning. This should be detailed prior to booking as I was travelling with teenagers and one was quite isolated by being down there and I didn’t rest well as a result. They did give us an air conditioning unit for it but you couldn’t lock the window when it was in use so my daughter was scared to sleep with it on as she wanted the windows locked at night especially as she wasn’t in the main house with us. Really disappointed as reviews were good on booking.com. Perhaps we were just unlucky. But when you save all year round to have your family holiday and get what we did it was quite upsetting.

Very quiet safe location. Pool very clean. Marcel very helpful and responded to my call within 10 minutes on bank holiday to fix an issue with the automatic car port door that he rectified.

Would recommend renting a car which we did as it is located away from main tourist areas (which we preferred!)

Our flight was delayed, so arrived very late , we were met by Mickael, who was really helpful . The villa was stunning and the pool was larger than we were expecting. The villa was well equipped and very spacious. We had a wonderful week in amazing villa in el faro .

The only criticism was the pool needed a bit of TLC as there were a few sharp bits on the steps into the pool and my granddaughters had cuts to their feet on entering the pool
