Spacious and lovely in the City Center of Bilbao

The apartment itself is spacious and could be quite nice under different circumstances. It’s in a convenient location and the interior looks as shown in the photos.

What didn’t you like about the property? The construction noise and lack of privacy make the apartment unlivable. The entire building is surrounded by ongoing works, with workers walking right outside every window from early morning. The noise is so intense you can’t hold a conversation inside. You can’t open the windows because it feels unsafe and there’s constant dust, making the place unbearably hot. The front door downstairs is left open, adding to the feeling of no security. Communication from the hosts was poor, and I don’t think this property should be rented out while construction continues. Also, a few minor things: - water in shower is lukewarm, bathroom radiator is off, a dozen of fake plants, which gives a very miserable feeling

A great place in a really nice location just such ashame construction works were ongoing.

It was a construction site with scaffolding on the front and back side of the property. It was not noted in the property description that works would be carried out, but in the important information section. We unfortunatly did not spot this when booking, so please do check this. Anyway it was very noisy from 7.30am. We were offered ear plugs but that would make no difference. Was glad to move on.

The Hosts Angela and Nerea are very prompt and helpful. Whenever we had some problems in the apartment they were quick to respond and available at the apartment within an hour. The location is excellent with a supermarket just at 40m. Lot of restaurants and bars around the neighbourhood. We extended our stay in the apartment from 1 week to 17days.

We were with a car and the apartment didn't have a car parking. There is a public car parking at 750m distance and charges for 24hours is about 16euro. There is a construction work going on in the building and the work starts from 8am and it is quite noisy the entire day, which was the only negative point about the apartment.

Location was good. Apartment was spacious and has enough storage facility. Washing machine available.

Unfortunately the apartment was very hot and stuffy even though we arrived for our holiday on quite a rainy period. Opened the windows to air out, but this meant the apartment was infested with mosquitoes! It needs to be fumigated or better ventilation. Quite poor quality furniture, cheap twin beds, and thin mattresses. Which wasn't comfortable to sleep on. Stayed for 5 nights and didn't have a cleaner arrive or to replenish towels. Towels could have been better quality, seemed a little old. Double bed had winter duvet which was too hot for the apartment during start of Sep. Didn't replenish consumables such as coffee or dish washing tablets. Was only given bare minimum amount. For the price these small details would make a big difference. The sofa and cushions could do with a deep clean as there was residual odour coming from it. The check in lady was nice enough, however we saw that she had difficulties opening the lock with the fob and didn't give much explanation as to how to actually work it. This meant we had to struggle a lot of the times until we worked out the specific process ourselves. Photos give the impression of a better quality stay.

1. Location. Close to everything you want in the city center 2. the equipment in the flat was perfect. 3. The hospitality was awesome!

The only things I might think to improve in the flat is the bed in the master room it was quite small if you are 1.91cm 😀. It's 1.40×1.60.
