Sometimes the hot water in the shower was a bit irregular but nothing major

Well placed, nice appartment.

The kitchen could have a bit more tools (like vegetable peeler). Also there is quite a lot of noise coming from the building staircase.

Location near sea and close to interesting palaces, botanical garden. Catedral is half an hour walk. available facilities were outstanding

Was hard to find ( ee artived at night)

The “staff” were good humored, attentive and helpful. The distant was spacious and home like.

It’s location and immediate surroundings

We stayed here a week and all the facilities were very good. Super clean through out and there is a large outside area with table & chairs undercover plus for laundry & drying clothes. It is about a 15-20 minute walk to the historic centre. Restaurants nearby, supermarket about 10 mins and a small but interesting museum over the road. Our arrival was 1 hour late due to a delayed train but Gabriele arranged a (pay for) pick-up & transfer. BTW: the images on google maps are out-dated; the fallen down buildings opposite have been renovated and turned into accommodation.

Plenty of hot water in the shower but then it goes cold, then too hot, then cold, then…

Very cozy and comfortable apartment. Inside you will find everything you need. The location is close to the city center, and there are several cafes with delicious food nearby. Highly recommend!

We had a greatstay at La Kalsa di Somavi. The location was the best part of our stay as it is in a lively, safe part of the city just steps away from many bars, restaurants, and parks. The hosts were friendly and responsive. One of the hosts lives in an apartment just above the property, so she was there to meet us and explain the rules of the house. She does not speak a lot of English but we communicated via Google Translate. The apartment itself is great - there is a spacious kitchen, small living room, good wifi and the shower has good water pressure. Overall we were very comfortable.

The doors are folding doors so they do not fully close, this means that you can hear other people moving around in the apartment fairly clearly. There were a few ants in one of the bedrooms despite not leaving any food in there. These were minor issues.

Perfect location to explore Palermo, spacious terrace, and well equipped kitchen.

This apartment in Palermo is a great apartment. First all communication with the owner and the check in was easy. We arrived, and it was clean and nice. The location of the apartment is superb - there are 10 or even 15 restaurants in a couple of minutes walking distance. Also the sea is reachable in only 4 minutes walking - wow! (You can not swim). It is a real part of Palermo, and we felt safe. Last not least in about one minute there is a small shop/ kiosk, where you can buy water and some wonderful homemade food, too. Overall really happy with the stay, would always recommend this apartment to friends or family visiting Palermo.
