"Exceptional"

10.0

We loved everything! As much as I’d like to keep this a secret, it would be selfish not to share it. You know you’ve found the right place when leaving feels like saying goodbye to family. The Hosts & Team Liset, Andres, and their son, Martin, were phenomenal hosts—fun, cool, and incredibly generous. A special mention goes to Gladys and Israel for the exceptional meals and expert boat captaining. The Food The food was a highlight. Gladys made the best patacones I’ve ever had—crispy on the outside and perfectly fluffy on the inside. Every breakfast, lunch, and dinner was both delicious and substantial. Liset ensures every meal is well-rounded with plenty of fresh fruit, and Andres is killer on the grill and with the pizzas, just as others have mentioned. The Atmosphere & Location The location is remote and stunning. The water is calm and protected; you don’t have to worry about traffic or major storms. We actually welcomed the rain, which was refreshing by day and calming at night. While it is a rainforest, you should expect brief, refreshing showers—it only adds to the magic. The frogs and wildlife love it. Activities & Wildlife The swimming and snorkeling are wonderful. While there isn't a traditional beach, you have direct, easy access to the water. Swimming in the bioluminescence at night was really cool. The birdwatching and wildlife viewing are fantastic, and working out with a spectacular view is unbeatable. We took two boat excursions captained by Israel to Cayo Zapatillo and Red Frog Beach. We were lucky enough to spot bottlenose dolphins both times thanks to Liset’s keen eyes. Bring your binoculars and keep an open mind. It’s a beautiful, natural ecosystem—not a zoo—so while nothing is guaranteed, the surprises are well worth it. Thank you, Liset, Andres, and Martin, for an amazing stay! We can't wait to come back!

"Erholsamer Inselurlaub in herrlicher Stille"

9.0

"Relaxing stay with very friendly hosts"

10.0

This is a truly secluded and peaceful place, perfect for relaxing and slowing down surrounded by nature. Liset, Andres, and their sons were incredibly welcoming and went above and beyond to make sure we had a wonderful stay. We were very well taken care of, with generous, delicious meals and their genuinely friendly company. We are grateful for this. Good wifi too.

I would just recommend to bring cash for meals and activities (to avoid fees)
