Le Dimore di San Michele - Life in Old Town

Beautiful apartment, very clean at a very good location. The old town and the beach were just from walking distance.

Could be loud during the night, as the apartment door opens directly to a street.

Walking distance to everything, right in the heaet of the old town

It's a busy street with a couple of bars so could be noisy, but not really a problem but might be for some people

Good location, clean room

There is no sunlight in the room, the only window is in the door but if you even open the door fully, it is very dark inside. So, you must switch the lights on all the time when you are on the room. Noise, the room is situated on a narrow street, many people are walking, scooters are passing, different suppliers are going on even at night, making big noise. There is a pub in the front of the room, a strong noise comes from the pub till even 2.00 a.m. Small thing, TV did not work. Last, but not least, we were urged by the owner to "clean the kitchen and take away garbage and put them in the container 150 m from the room". I did not experience this situation before in my long history of traveling. Normally, this service is in the price. We have no feeling that the owner was friendly. Summarising, low comfort of leaving in the room, now sunlight, strong noise from the street. Despite the good location and cleanest of the room, there are no positive feelings and recommendations to book place there. Look for something else.

Perfect location on the border of Bari old town. Apartament was very clean with comfortable bed, nice bathroom and and kitchenette equipped which all the essentials. The owner responded very quickly, and communication was easy. Highly recommend for a short stay.

Location is great!!! Very well equipped kitchenette which has all the essentials. Communication with the owner was very easy and straightforward. We managed to arrange relocation our luggage after checking out. Highly recommend for a short stay.

As the flat located in a 3000 year old town and was most likely intended as a warehouse in the past, there is no ventilation system. Despite the beautiful renovation and interior there is a damp smell. The only window is part of the front door. It looks very nice and the lack of light is compensated sufficiently by the artificial light in the room. Unfortunately, there wasn't enough warm water for two people to shower in a row.

Location is on the border of old and new Town so everything is super walkable and really nice. Bed, bathroom en kitchenette is perfect for a short stay.

There is a bar right opposite the property. 2.5 meters from the front door, which opens 20:00 -02:00. The place is definitely not as sound proof as advertised. The hot water boiler almost contains nothing and you can only have a really short hot shower before the water is done.
