SMALL CABIN IN THE SOUTH

This is a very cozy and authentic little house in the forest. One of the best things is the self check-in — you just arrive, and everything is ready for you. The property is beautiful and peaceful, and you basically have the whole area to yourself. The bathroom isn’t inside the house, but it’s just a few steps away, and it’s not a problem at all — everything is absolutely comfortable. The biggest advantage is that it’s located close to the waterfall and not too far from Cebu. This place is truly unique and helps you fully disconnect and recharge while being surrounded by nature. Every little detail in the house is carefully thought out, and the interior is so well designed — it makes the whole place feel super cozy and special. I would happily come back here again. So cozy! And it’s really in the nature and no one bothers you! At the same time the facilities and cleanliness are wonderful!

The water from the sink is not working (too small) and the parking was not specified. It would be great if there would be 2nd layer of curtain that can cove the lights during the day, because the lights go through the curtain and we got awaken right away early morning.

Cozy and romantic place. Super unique. Super host !!! Great value. Great location. Super quiet too. Clean place with tv and air conditioning, plus they had a good sound system that included karaoke.

Only cold water for shower and not great water pressure but I knew that in advance. Another warning to renters that the walk from the road is a bit steep so if you are old or scared of slightly steep inclines, this is not the place for you. I only mention these so the owner doesn’t get complaints from people who think they MUST have these. After all, it’s the Philippines and many places are like this. I will definitely stay here again any time I am in Barili. We loved it so much.

It’s nice because of its exclusivity, we’re the only guest in the property so it is perfect for family gatherings. I love their restroom!

I wish they have an “honest store” for basic commodities like drinking water, canned goods, hygiene essentials, and any beverages since the area is a bit far from convenience stores. Also, a hanging area for wet clothes is a good idea to have that’s missing here.

We appreciated the clean status and the really lovely decorated compound! Its a really special accomodation and its situated nicely between big green banana and palm trees. The sound at night was fabulous! So in total - the setup and decoration and shower and cleanliness was very nice! There are two hammocks, a cooking possibility and a big net to lay or sleep in upstairs!

The only thing which was a problem: We booked for 3 people and there were no bed linen/sheets! We used the curtains and towels as bed lines/sheets. Also the person sleeping in the upper bed had a crazy hard ground to sleep. The bed mattress downstairs is made of plastic, you get very wet from sweating. I chose the net outside to sleep in as it was too small for two people to sleep downstairs. We would reccomend to put 2 better mattreaces in the cabin and don't forget to put enough bed linen/sheets - besides this this cabin woukld be a really special and nice stay! The street is not very far away, so duringf the day it is quiet loud, but in the night it would be OK for most people. The nice sound of all the animals in the greens is more present - what I really loved!
