"Beautiful, very well equipped property in excellent location."

9.0

The location was great, a very short walk to the harbour with plenty of excellent eateries (although a steep climb back up to the house!). The house was really lovely, beautifully appointed, spotlessly clean and equipped with everything you could need. The weather was changeable whilst we were there but we were able to sit out on a couple of occasions, which was very nice as the rear garden is a real sun trap. The beds were extremely comfortable and the shower was very good. We would happily return.

There is a steep flight of steps from the gate down to the front door, which is awkward when carrying luggage. Also, the parking space is a two minute walk away which is a bit of a pain on arrival and departure when you need to make multiple trips to the car. However, completely understand that there is nothing that can be done about it so only a minor irritation. Would be helpful to have a shelf below the mirror in the bathroom to put toothbrushes, etc and the bath towels were a little small.

"A beautiful, private little gem of a cottage."

10.0

Perfect location and beautifully furnished. Everything you need is there.

The only thing that let it down was the weather...but that can't be helped! The access to the cottage from the road is down steep steps which the gate opens straight onto. We were warned about this though by the agency who manage the property.

"Beautfil cottage in a prefect location"

10.0

Beautiful cottage! Great location only a few steps from the port and centre of Port Isaac with its shops and restaurants, a private parking space is located a few steps from the cottage and there is a coop shop nearby. The cottage has recently been renovated, everything is very nice, comfortable and clean. It is extremely well equipped, especially the kitchen, and has everything you could possibly need during your stay. I loved that there were about 12 pieces of everything (plates, cutlery, etc) so that you don't constantly need to clean up after yourself. The dishwasher and washing machine were also a big plus when travelling with small children. We loved our stay in Port Isaac and exploring the area. Next time we are in Cornwell, we would definitely stay here again!

"We had a lovely stay in Gulls roost, thanks 😊"

Very friendly helpful lady gave us keys and showed us the parking space and property

The pillows were a bit thick, for us. The tv was in German, the previous visitors had added their account and we were unable to reset it. But everything else was great

"Fantastic cute cottage"

10.0

We loved this cute cottage. They thought of everything. Great location, chipper and ice cream around the corner. Co-op shop at top of the hill. Short walk to lovely shops and restaurants. The cottage is beautiful and very clean. The kitchen has everything you need and more. Lovely welcome pack and milk in the fridge. It's a lovely place to come back to relax after touring around. Park space very close, less than a minute walk. We'll be back. Ps: for Doc Martin fans, back garden looks onto the Docs house which was a bonus.

There was nothing not to like.
