A warm space for an overnight on our cycle tour. Hot water is available in the hut and there is a composting toilet to the side. There is a small table and chairs which can be set up inside or on the terrace.

The space is small and the table low but otherwise all good for a 1-night stay.

"Cosy, pretty and eco friendly!"

8.0

The hut is lovely, lovingly decorated (so many holiday let's are full of cheap mass-produced plastic tack) but the owners of this one have excellent taste! I had to wiggle the water pump a bit but that worked fine. Compost toilets are not new to me, so I quite enjoyed that semi- al fresco experience. I had a very enjoyable stay! I net the owner briefly and they were really pleasant to chat to.

I had no issue with either of these aspects but it's best to be aware that the hut is tiny. It's great for one person with very little luggage but may be a squeeze for 2. You are also in someone's garden. It's a nice garden with a lovely view but it is not a wide open space. There is water from a pump, a kettle and a microwave but no fridge (no problem for me as it was quite cold so my food was outside).
