El ALMA de Granada

Well, I like everything about this place. It is so close to the historical centre of Granada, you can visit cool places on foot easily. Everything is the same as it is provided in details and pictures on Booking. My next stay will be longer though.

The apartment is in a quiet street but very close to the city centre and to the train station as well. It is perfect for couples for a short stay. It has all the amenities you need (fridge, microwave, coffee maker), comfortable and nicely decorated. Joaquín is a great host, he even provided us a guide for the city.

Mobile coverage is very low in the apartment (but we have Wi-Fi so it wasn't a big issue in the end). Otherwise, everything was perfect!

The apartment is very nice, beautifully furnished to a high spec and has everything you could want for a short break. It is not far to walk to anywhere you could want to visit. The host is very helpful and provided us with some useful information.

The bed was a bit too soft for us, but it's a personal taste. The stairs are quite steep up to the apartment, just something to be aware of.

missing some basics for an extended stay in the kitchen (coffee machine was not working, no towels or kitchen knives), no clothes drying rack and in the bathroom (low water pressure, water not flowing out properly)

Amazing location, Joaquin was very nice and always available. So far m8y best place in Spain that I reserved, I invite all of you to stay in his beautiful place you will not be disappointed.

The location is good for the main attractions - on the edge of the Albaicin, and about 10 minutes' walk to the Cathedral and the foot of the Alhambra hill, though not in a "touristy" area. The bar on the street (the real McCoy) is a friendly place - mainly locals - and there are a couple of coffee shops, bakeries, and small supermarkets, all within 100m or so. The apartment is pretty recently renovated, so fittings are new, and there are plenty of power sockets if you need them.

The only downside we found - and it's temporary, and nothing to do with the apartment itself - is that they are doing renovations in the next street. The noise isn't noticeable, but as cars drive by the roadworks, dust is carried down the street, so if you open the front window, as you'd like to, dust blew in. But if we revisited Granada, we'd stay there again
