Slow living - perfect vacation

House is bigger than expected, self detached, has a bathroom and 2 extra toilets, all rooms are spacious. House is well heated, floor heating is very pleasant, especially in the morning in the bathroom. Location is very quiet, in a vineyard, good for walks, good views from the house.

Unfortunately there were some issues with maintanance.. 1. diswasher machine not working, we had to hand wash the dishes during the whole stay of 4 days 2. many dishes and cups that were in cabinets were dirty (seems like someone tried to wash them in dishwasher and since it is not warking they just put them dirty in cabinets as they were clean) 3. mouse or rodent on roof, making noise during evening and night 4. one night alarm going on 5-6 times between 4 AM and 6 AM waking us up (even before there was some message blinking on it, maybe there was some problem with batteries) 5. we wanted to bake a cake in the oven. When we heated oven we realised it was very dirty, with a lot of oil on bottom of oven, making a bad smell while heated. We had to cool it down, opet all the windows (although it was cold, to let the smelly air out), clean it to be able to use the oven. 6. the communication with host was a bit difficult, we contacted the host via booking to complain about the above issues, then he for some issues directed us to his assistant on WhatsApp, which then for some issues directed us to the third person, which came once but was unable to solve any of the issues. The woman who came didn't speak any English, just limited German. On last day a forth person came to bring a bottle of wine as an apology for some of the issues. 7. at one moment during our stay while apologising for all the issues that have occured the host himself offered to refund some of the money to my bank account. Unfortunately now 10 days after we left there was no refund at all. I reminded in this period both host via booking and his assistant on WhatsApp of this promise they have made, again with no reply.

Very beautiful location in the middle of a Winery farm. The house has enough space for 2 to 4 people and nice decorated very lovely location
